Curing Pyometra - without a vet

From a friend in New Zealand....

My friend (let's call him 'John'), heard about a female cat who was suffering Pyometra. Very nasty condition which requires immediate evacuation of pus inside the womb and spaying. If the condition isn't treated in time, the cat will die.  If the cat has surgery, this can cost a fortune and the cat can never breed again.

John (a natural therapist) recommended a large dose of colloidal silver 2-3 times per day for 3 weeks.  The cat not only quickly recovered from the condition completely, but she went on to give birth to a litter of 4 very healthy kittens!

  1. This is EXACTLY what I was wondering could be done. I have a stunning female young Maine Coon. She's had 3 heats so far and my male hasn't "hit the target" yet. I'm worried about her getting pyometra until he figures it out. As a preventative, I was thinking of giving her colloidal silver. Thank you for the confirmation!! Not sure what a "large dose" is but I will give her a few cc's 3x day.
